Your credit card or PayPal account will be charged automatically on the start date of your Care Plan each month.

*Just remember, if you cancel, you'll need to make sure you have a plan to keep your website updated and protected. Also, any premium plugin licenses we've provided will need to be purchased directly from the developers to remain active.

Absolutely! Although we prefer that you use one of our recommended providers, we'll review your web hosting platform and talk to your hosting company to make sure everything is up to par.

If you would like to move your website over to FLYING 'OKOLE Hosting we offer *free migration.

*Free site migration is limited to 30 minutes – if it takes longer because we have to contact your host or domain registrar or CDN, or for any other delays, you will be billed at the rate of $100/hr for the additional time.

We take every precaution to prevent issues, but in the rare case of unexpected breakage caused by a software update or a theme/plugin conflict, we have you covered.

All of our plans include up to one hour of troubleshooting and repair per month.

What's Not Included: Our policy does not cover issues caused by the client or other WordPress users. Resolving these issues will either use your allotted Care Plan support time or be billed at our standard hourly rate.

Restoring a Backup: For all plans, you can request a restore of a previous backup twice per month at no additional charge.

The whole purpose of a Website Care Plan is preventative care. We work hard to prevent anything from happening. However if something does happen and your website needs emergency care we will be there, right by your website's side, communicating with the web hosting company on your behalf.

We cannot promise your website will not be hacked but can promise we will do everything in our power to prevent it, as well as assist in the restoration and cleanup of your website with one of our backups.

**If you are on the MAINTAIN Care Plan and your website becomes infected with Malware... Malware cleanup and removal is billed separately and can range from $300 - $1000.

Monthly strategy calls are a dedicated benefit for our IMPROVE Care Plan clients, designed to focus on the growth and success of your website.

Each month, you are responsible for scheduling your 15-30 minute session through our online calendar. While we prefer email for efficient day-to-day communication, these calls are most effective for brainstorming, reviewing visual work, and discussing strategic growth for your online presence. We can use this time for screen-sharing, minor updates, or even providing a bit of training.

We'll be ready for our call with an agenda to ensure we make the most of our time together.

Content updates and small design improvements are the most common requests. This includes: copy updates, changing plugin settings, CSS adjustments, adding video links or new optimized images. They do not include custom development (PHP, plugins, themes, etc.) updating custom code, graphic design, PSD (or other image files) to WordPress or building out a new website or subdomain. Requests for new features to your website will likely result in a formal quote (or ad-hoc hours) as those requests commonly go over the monthly dedicated time.

Maintenance time is calculated and logged at 15-minute intervals.

Our turnaround time depends on your specific Website Care Plan.

• PROTECT Plan: Minor content edits and support requests are typically completed within 2-3 business days of receiving your clear, detailed instructions.
• IMPROVE Plan: As a priority client, your requests get a faster 1-2 business day turnaround time. This ensures your website updates are handled quickly and efficiently.

Please note that if a request is unclear or falls outside the scope of your plan, the turnaround time may vary.

Business days are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time, excluding weekends and public holidays.

Your monthly support time is the equivalent to having a webmaster on a monthly retainer. Your monthly time is there for you every month to reserve your place in our work queue, therefore it does not roll over to the next month. You can take comfort in the fact that support you request within your allotted minutes of time per month will be addressed by our team promptly (1-3 business days).

Our standard hourly support rate is $100/hr.

When quoting work we provide a fixed price estimate before getting started so you can budget effectively.
However in some cases we use hourly billing, when the work is customized or the scope is not fully known, to give you more flexibility.

Certainly! We'll review your support request and provide a quote for you to approve (separate from your monthly Care Plan). However, many times we'll evaluate your request and with your approval, just provide the extra time at our current support rate $75/hr.

Products or services rendered in the State of Hawaii will be charged Hawaii General Excise Tax (4.712%).

Yes. You know your business and customers better than anyone. Therefore we rely on you to send us a variety of content we can extract storylines from. The content you send us can be a link, latest news about your company, photos or videos you captured, an article you found interesting, a YouTube video, or a blog post from other sites that embody the style you desire. Once we create the posts, we will get your approval and then schedule them out for the next 30 days.

Yes, we love welcoming new clients! We're happy to take over the care and maintenance for websites we didn't build.

To ensure a smooth transition and a solid foundation for our partnership, we require a WordPress Tune-up first. This one-time service allows us to get familiar with your site and address any underlying issues. The Tune-up includes:

• A complete backup of your website.
• Scans for broken links and other errors.
• Updates to your WordPress core, themes, and plugins.
• A detailed report of necessary fixes and recommendations.

Our Tune-up also includes 2 hours of dedicated support, design, and development time to begin fixing any immediate issues. This one-time service is a fixed investment of $500.

Occasionally, we may find that a website has significant issues that make it a better candidate for a full redesign. In these cases, we'll present our findings and may recommend a website update or rebuild before we can move forward with a monthly care plan. Our goal is to ensure your site is secure, functional, and ready for long-term success.
